New York City Named as Top US Destination for 2009
New York named as top US destination in 2009 New York City was the most popular US tourist destination in 2009, and visitor levels may increase this year, the city’s mayor, Michael Bloomberg, said. According to a Bloomberg report, citing the city’s marketing office, NYC & Co, New York’s 45.25 million visitors surpassed Orlando after finishing second in 2008.
