Iron Man China This Coming Weekend in Haikou

Iron Man China is back to Hainan Island for this year's annual big event in Haikou. They call it "Asia's Ultimate Endurance Experience" and I understand that our local boy Brendan, founder of Surfing Hainan will be competing; sans surfboard we assume

On Thursday evening, Coffee World is hosting a mixer for the athletes and fans. Please do join us. Hope to see you there!

Hainan Concert Event Chinese Website: 2010 New Years Thanksgiving Concert
This Chinese New Year Concert event will feature Chinese Folk Performers and Dancers together with Mario Cavolo on piano, performing a variety of international and Chinese songs. Mario will also play several American standard and jazz Broadway show tunes. From April to December 2009 Mario was the house pianist at Mandarin Oriental's MO Blues Lounge in Sanya.

Yeh for Games, Inc. Volunteers Team Up with Ritz Carlton Sanya to Protect Endangered Sea Turtles
This past weekend, volunteers from gaming company Yeh for Games, Inc. teamed up with the Ritz Carlton Sanya for a fun and educational family event supporting protection of the endangered sea turtles in the region. Seaturtles911 is the non-profit organization whose efforts are focused in China on the Hainan Island coastal regions, home to the critically endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle and the endangered Green Sea Turtle. 20 teams to compete in 2009 Tour of Hainan international cycling race

I'm a few days late reporting on the annual Hainan Cycling Race due to traveling this past week on a five city tour for other events; speaking last Wednesday at the Shanghai Health Conference 2009 in Lu Jia Zui and then on to my Autumn piano concert tour in Zhoushan, Guangzhou and Ningbo....nice to finally get back home to catch everyone up on happenings here in Sanya...the above photo shows us Korea's Park Seon Ho passing the finish line first at the end of the fifth stage of the 2009 Tour of Hainan International Road Cycling Race in Chengmai, south China's Hainan Province, Nov. 15, 2009. Park won this stage with a time of 3 hours 31 minutes and 21 seconds. Cheers, M
SANYA, South China, Nov. 10 (Xinhua) -- Twenty teams will compete in the Tour of Hainan International Road Cycling Race, slated for Nov. 11 to 19, organizers said here on Tuesday.
