The Funeral Service for John Abercrombie will take place this Friday, February 26th at 5pm at the Tian Du Funeral Home.

Directions: Arriving at Tian Du traffic circle from Dadonghai, take the road furthest to the right, go up the hill about 1 kilometer...on the left hand side you will find a white-tile gated entrance marked as #51, that is the funeral home. Go through the gate and turn to the right, you will see a place to park and enter.

The community of Sanya has lost a friend and fine man, husband and father, John Abercrombie, who departed from this world on February 20, 2010.

That eternal rest and peace be granted to him.
and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul through the mercy of God rest in peace.

O God, grant peace and redemption by the suffering of this family in their loss.
Sustain them in their anguish; and into the darkness of their grief bring the light of your love.

Its a fancy event tonight at the Shanghai Grand Hyatt Jin Mao Tower where I will have the pleasure of hosting the Annual Digital Media Awards Banquet which takes place in conjunction with the Ad Tech Conference at the convention center at Lu Jia Zui.

I've delayed my return twice this past week for the above reason along with the launch of my Catalysts To Change program on Friday which was a great success. Happy reasons wrap up an exhausting 3 weeks in Shanghai and I look forward to finally returning tomorrow night with plenty of catching up to do; so you can look forward to plenty of updates coming soon.

......I get big spanks for not posting that last week the Sanya taxis were on strike, over primary complaints that their expenses were too high and to seek gov't to launch a crackdown on unlicensed cabs....and WILL THIS INCLUDE ANY BLOODY NEW RULES OR LAWS THAT WILL GET THEM TO STOP HONKING THEIR HORNS PLEASE????...meanwhile, the taxis are back on the street...it is reported the cholera outbreak has passed...while other provinces in China have already repealed the real estate capital gains tax to stimulate the ailing economy, the outrageous capital gains tax for Hainan is still yet to be repealed...Cheers, M
